Sections will be designed by the riders for the riders.
Rider categories
There are four skill categories available. Use the descriptions below as a guide for which is most suitable.
- Novice. This skill class is recommended for beginners and first time competition riders. Each section consists of obstacles that are low to the ground and require reasonable bike handling skills and balance.
- Sport (Open / Masters (over 30)). This category is aimed at riders with an intermediate skill level.
- Expert. Best for riders with advanced skills.
- Elite. For the best riders in the country.
Event registrations are now open on the AusCycling website.
Event entry for all skill categories is $40. Riders without an existing AusCycling membership will also need to purchase a Day Licence for $30.
Additional information
Note: Bike Trials will not be featured at the AusCycling MTB National Championships to be held in Maydena. The Australian Bike Trials community have worked with AusCycling to implement a sustainable model for running competitions. This focusses on utilising existing Bike Trials facilities.
